Cheap Chewsday is a fantastic evening of food + community. CSU Newcastle and Jesmond Park Uniting Church have come together to offer friendship and a meal to international students and others who want to join in to build connections and hospitality. Each month a different local community prepares the meal - Indian, Chinese, Indonesian, Iraqi, Bangladeshi, Vietnamese and more -- all for a gold coin donation.
